I am incredibly excited to welcome you to our brand spankin’ new + improved website! Over the past few months, The Union staff has been working closely with our super talented (and just plain awesome) graphic designer, Justin Kemerling to create a site that’s more inline with what The Union does and who we are as an organization… and I love the end result!
Come on! Let’s take a tour!
A click on PROGRAMS will provide you with the scoop on everything The Union does to serve our community. Each program page will provide you with lots of info on what we’re doing to support Omaha’s arts community and keep you in the loop on what we’re doing to help with the revitalization efforts happening in North Omaha. Missed an event you really wanted to catch? No worries! These pages now also function as an archive of our events and programs, so you’ll be able to find helpful documents, videos and images on everything we’re up to.
We’ve added a super handy EVENTS page that will keep you up to date, not only on all of The Union’s events and happenings, but things our Fellows are up to and events being sponsored by our community partners. If there’s something coming up that you don’t want to miss, you can add it to your personal calendar with one quick click.
Out of everything our new site offers, I think I’m most excited about this BLOG… each week, we’ll be posting a little something new: deep thoughts from our Fellows, tidbits from the staff, Board members and exhibiting artists, news from the art world, random rants and things worth celebrating. We sincerely hope that you’ll come back often and join in the conversation through the comments section.
I really hope you love our new home on the web as much as I do. If you have any comments or suggestions on the redesign – or anything else – I’m all ears and would love to hear what’s on your mind. As always, you can reach me, anytime, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Before I go – I’ve got to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to Justin Kemerling for helping to make this site possible. We’ve been so lucky to have an opportunity to work with him this year, and I believe that he’s perfectly captured who we are and what we do through his design work.
(We love you, Justin!!)
