kith: noun \ˈkith\ : acquaintances, friends, neighbors, or the like
The Union for Contemporary Art is pleased to share a little initiative that we’re calling kith: monthly events designed to bring folks together to celebrate the arts and streghten our community. Each month, we’ll host a gathering — it might be a dinner, brunch or cocktail party; picnic, game night or communal art project — aimed at bringing artists and the community together in hopes of inspiring great conversations and new connections.
Join us on Tuesday, July 8th for a community pot luck dinner in our garden at 6:30pm. Since we'll be eating outside, theres no need to RSVP, we'll have plenty of room for everyone. Please bring a dish to share -- we'll have some wine and beverages on hand, but more are always welcome!
After dinner, we'll be hosting an outdoor screening of Growing Cities, a documentary about urban agriculture, created by Union Fellows Dan Susman and Andrew Monbouquette.
