The Union is proud to partner with VisualAIDS to host a screening of ALTERNATE ENDINGS, RADICAL BEGINNINGS the 28th iteration of their longstanding Day With(out) Art project.
This video, curated by Erin Christovale and Vivian Crockett, features the work of seven artists prioritizing Black narratives within the ongoing AIDS epidemic. ALTERNATE ENDINGS, RADICAL BEGINNINGS highlights the voices marginalized within broader Black communities nationwide, including queer and trans folks.
Following the screening, Dominique Morgan, Andrew Aleman, and Tim Rimmers will moderate a discussion about perceptions and representations of HIV/AIDS in popular media and communities of color. The screening and discussion are free and open to the public.
