The final show in our Plays Out Loud! series and written by Aishah Rahman, Unfinished Women deals with the events in a home for unwed mothers on the last day of jazz musician Charlie Parker’s life, March 12, 1955. The play digs beyond statistics and social theories to find the unarticulated, half-understood longings of teenage mothers. All performances have $5 suggested donation at the door. Seating begins at 6:30 pm. Show starts at 7:00 pm.
