Summer School: Boot Camp is a high-impact, low-intensity training for artists! We have combined a panelist conversation, a guided discussion, and artist presentations with alternating bursts of networking opportunities and a fuel break (free lunch!) to keep the momentum elevated. Each session will target a different area–professional access, social media presence, and presentation skills–designed so participants will continue to experience progress long after attending Summer School!
Free to attend, lunch included. Space is limited. RSVP by July 11 is required.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
CARDIO / Professional Access Panel
Panelists: Beaufield Berry-Fisher, Nicole Caruth, CJ Olson, and Tessa Wedberg
Strengthen and lengthen your relationships with arts professionals.
STRENGTH TRAINING / Accessing Professional Opportunities via Social Media
Facilitators: Matt Carlson and Dan Crane
Increase followers while shaping an effective social media presence.
ENDURANCE / Artist Presentations
Regardless of discipline, nothing beats having a sexy presentation!
Attendees have the opportunity to present their work through 2.5 minute/10 slide PechaKucha presentations. Slides must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by July 12 to participate. This session is optional, attendees are not required to participate. Get your presentation in shape by attending Working Artist Wednesday: Summer School Warm-up: Artist Talks.
RECOVERY / Happy Hour
All attendees and presenters are invited to join us for a recovery happy hour.
You deserve it.
