Artists use press molding techniques to replicate found objects and prototypes made from clay. In this introductory workshop on press molding, participants will learn how to make simple one part molds from found objects. Using these molds, they will generate a number of cast stoneware parts that can be altered and combined to create more complex forms and/or vessels.

NOTE: This is a two part workshop. You must be able to attend both parts of the workshop.
Part 1: Thursday, July 19, 7:30-9PM
