Join us for the first (of what we hope to be many) CREATIVE WORKSHOP at The Union for Contemporary Art. These artist-led experiences aim to broaden local artists' practice, encourage cross-disciplinary experiments, and increase the dialogue about process and work among local art practitioners.

Lincoln-based photographer Hudson Gardner will kick off the series with a workshop on Photography + Seeing. He will host a conversation on his approach to:

>> Philosophy of photography
>> Seeing techniques
>> How to position yourself/how to act as a photographer
>> Genres of photography
>> The worth / worthlessness of projects
>> Walking around
>> Film, Digital and Editing

Workshops are free and open to all. We will meet at the Wanda D. Ewing Galley at 2221 N. 24th Street. Although not necessary to participate, please bring a camera (both DIGITAL and FILM are fine) if you have access to one.
