The Union for Contemporary Art is committed to strengthening the creative culture of the greater Omaha area by providing direct support to our local artists -- helping them to progress in their creative practice and careers.
Throughout the year, The Union sponsors seminars and workshops to help educate and support our arts community by providing them with the skills they need to excel as professional artists. These programs provide artists with access to other professional artists who share information on topics ranging from tax and investment advice, how to strengthen a portfolio, how to get gallery representation or how to apply to grad school. We also offer hands-on sessions to teach artists the skills they need to improve or expand their artistic practice.
