TOGETHER WORKSHOPS

As part of The Union’s Youth program, Together Workshops are designed for families to explore creative processes together, such as printmaking, ceramics, gardening, painting, and more. Each month, we offer multiple opportunities to participate in these artist-led experiences. Follow the links below to register for individual workshops.

Throwing on the Wheel w/ Kathryn Schroeder
Saturday January 26th 10:30am - 12:00pm

$10 fee adult/child pair
Ages 5 and up
Max of 6 pairs (12 participants) must be 1 adult/child pair

In this Together workshop, participants will be introduced to pottery wheel basics in order to create fun, abstract, and functional forms on the wheel, again and again. Prior experience is not required. Each adult/child pair will share a wheel and instruction will be provided as you take turns/work together. Come dressed for a mess and enjoy the experience of working on the pottery wheel with a loved one. Please note this is workshop is practice/process only. No projects will be taken home.

Monoprinting w/ Amanda Foreman
Tuesday January 29th 6:00pm-7:30pm

10 fee adult/child pair
Ages 5 and up
Max of 8 pairs (16 participants) may add additional adults/children for $1
Includes 1 print per participant

(Teens) Fluid Painting w/ Amanda Foreman
Tuesday February 12 6:30pm-8:00pm

$10 fee adult/child pair
Ages 12 and up
Max of 5 pairs (10 participants) may add additional adults/children for $1
Includes 1 project per participant
