Abolition: A Community Approach To Healing

Wed, Nov 20
6:00–8:00 pm

The Union for Contemporary Art

2423 North 24th Street

Omaha, NE 68110

Presented by 2019 Inside/Outside Fellows, Rowdy Boys Zine Collective, this workshop will discuss abolition as a tool to move toward community healing. We will look at abolitionist values, how they can be adapted and how they live in the work of the nonprofit Black and Pink. Bring a notepad, pen, and an open mind. Rowdy Boys have tailored the workshop to youth who are interested in activism and abolition, but all are invited.

The event is FREE, though early registration is encouraged at the link below.
