Mark Powers

Mark Powers is a percussion artist/educator, speaker, writer, and adventurer.

Mark has performed, studied and taught in the US, Canada, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and South Pacific. A NAC teaching artist, Tycoon Percussion artist, and REMO educator, he presents a variety of group workshops to schools and companies. He has been a TEDx speaker; is co-author of “The 2-in-1 Drummer” method book; has written for Modern Drummer and other magazines; releases 60-second video lessons on his DrumItInAMinute.com site; and is former co-holder of a drumming Guinness World Record!
