Workshops Schedule

Our co-op workshops offer passholders and the wider community an opportunity to expand their skills and learn new techniques in each of the co-op studios.

Below is our current workshops schedule along with registration links for each. You do not need to be a co-op passholder to register for workshops.

A once-a-week workshop on Wednesdays for six weeks:
September 9: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
September 16: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
September 23: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
September 30: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
October 14: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
(Rescheduled from Oct. 7) October 21: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Using clay as a medium, participants will transform their personal interests and passions into tangible works of art. This class offers a supportive environment where creators engage in discussions and receive personalized guidance, helping them problem-solve and build the skills to bring their unique artistic vision to life. Open to all levels.

Print Studio Sampler (Revised Dates)

A once-a-week workshop on Wednesdays for two weeks:
September 30: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
(Rescheduled from Oct. 7) October 14: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Curious about printmaking? This two part sampler introduces participants to foundational print techniques through guided experimentation. Explore materials, processes, and image-making while creating finished prints in a supportive studio environment. All skill levels are welcome.

Intro To Linoleum Carving Thumb

A once-a-week workshop on Wednesdays for four weeks:
Oct. 28: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Nov. 4: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Nov. 11: 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Nov. 18: 5:30-7:30 p.m.

This workshop teaches participants to plan and carve a single color linoleum relief block. Participants will do a preliminary plan for coloring, carving, and printing their blocks using multiple layers. 

Cost: $120 + registration fee

Home for the Holidays Series

Instructor: Trudy Swanson

Learn the basics of pinch, coil, and slab building while creating functional holiday-themed items for your gift giving this year. This is a series of four individual classes, sign up for as many as you want. No prior experience required. 

Oct. 28, 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Napkin Holder
Nov. 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Mug
Nov. 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Christmas Tree Luminary
Nov. 18, 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Spoon Holder

Please note that all registrations are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your co-op workshop, you may choose one of the following options:

Transfer: Give your registered workshop to a friend or colleague.
Credit: Receive a credit to use toward a future co-op pass or workshop.
Donate: Donate your paid workshop to The Union to help support our mission.
