Destiny Oluwafemi is a multimedia artist and arts enthusiast from Bronzeville, Chicago, IL. With a passion for uplifting North Omaha, partly due to its similarities to her hometown and rich cultural history, Destiny is proud to be the Visitor Services Coordinator for The Union for Contemporary Art. She champions the idea that art is a powerful outlet for experiences that can’t be expressed in typical conversation. Destiny believes art is a requirement, meant for society to see itself reflected in creative expression. While also leveraging technology to benefit others, her goal is to do all that she can to preserve authentic perspectives that are often overlooked while being a steward in the North Omaha community. Her responsibilities are focused around upholding administrative integrity, helping maintain facilities, and cultivating a bridge between the community and The Union.
