The 2024 growing season is underway in the Abundance Garden! Every year, our goal is to grow, harvest, and share as much free + fresh produce with our North Omaha community as possible. It takes many helping hands to make this possible, and YOU are invited to help. Throughout the summer we’ll have a variety of volunteer opportunities - ranging from harvesting and help running our Saturday Free Produce Stands to general garden maintenance.

On the morning of June 8th, we’ll gather for a volunteer orientation and casual social hour in the garden. We’ll outline our volunteer needs for the year, and folks can sign up for specific rolls + times. Mainly though, we’re going to enjoy some refreshments in the garden, talk about our growing plans for the year, and soak up some sun with fellow plant people. 😎🌻

No registration needed. Just drop on by! All ages and abilities are welcome.

Accessibility: The Abundance Garden can accommodate those in wheelchairs or with other mobility aids. Level surfaces include both paved concrete, crushed gravel, and mowed grass. Chair and bench seating will be available. Please email pearl@u-ca.org with any other access needs.
