Shadow puppetry is one of the oldest forms of storytelling. In this Performing Arts workshop, youth will create larger-than-life shadow characters by designing masks, learning the basics of puppetry, and experimenting with light and story. Workshops are FREE and all materials are provided.

Ages 8-11
10am-12:30pm

Become your favorite animal using body shadow puppetry! Join us to create larger than life shadow characters by designing masks, incorporating movement, and experimenting with light. The class will end in a 30 minute Shadow Sharing for family and friends!

How do we share stories? Explore the intersection of design, movement, and storytelling using body shadow puppetry! Youth will learn ways of storytelling by designing masks to tell tales! Class ends with a 30 minute Shadow Sharing for family and friends!
