Wesleyon Zollicoffer

Wesleyon Zollicoffer, upon receiving a certificate of completion with No More Empty Pots, first joined the team as the youth culinary instructor during Art Club in the summer of 2019. Continuing the partnership with NMEP, Wes will return as the culinary instructor for Art Club in 2020. He has worked with at-risk youth since 2010 and started teaching culinary in 2014. As a child, Wesleyon was inspired and influenced by popular chefs Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, and Rachel Ray. Today, he draws inspiration from local chefs at The Boiler room, V. Mertz, and international chef Gordan Ramsey. Wesleyon believes that God has given him everything he needs to impact the world through his gifts. Wes uses his interest in world cuisines to connect and bring others from different backgrounds together. He hopes to see every child who is interested in culinary arts walk away knowing they have it in them now, to live out their dreams.
