Cyrus Jefferson

Joining the Union team in 2020, Cyrus Jefferson will serve as the youth engagement intern for Youth Open Studios, Action Brigade, and Art Club. No stranger to children nor the arts, he’s in his second year working in the education department at Joslyn Art Museum. Born into a family of artists, he creates art from a wide selection of media, including photography, watercolor, ceramics, and digital art. Cyrus is inspired by cartoons and storybook illustrations with a huge appreciation for color. He believes art is for everyone! Through his internship, he hopes to increase the opportunities in artmaking for youth within his community.
