Rebirth is an ode to evolution—to moving through seasons, shedding, transitioning, and blooming again and again. It honors what has been left behind, understanding that every phase carries us forward. It reflects a commitment to honoring my inner voice no longer confined to spaces too small for growth.
Across print and painting, recurring feminine figures are revisited and reimagined. The woodblock editions, created from a singular source and transformed through layering and variation, embody transition in a tangible way. Each iteration carries the essence of the one before it, strengthened, clarified, and more fully realized through process. The work mirrors the quiet evolution within; not a rejection of the past, but a return to self with greater intention. I share these works as a reminder that change, growth, and transition are not only necessary, they are beautiful.

About the Artist
Ashley Knox is a multidisciplinary visual artist and creative director based in Omaha who works across painting, printmaking, and mixed media. Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at the Hot Shops Art Center and Metropolitan Community College (MCC). Beyond her studio practice, Ashley has served as a curator at MCC, organizing and installing exhibitions that elevated student and local artists. She has also curated for community-centered events, expanding her role from maker to cultural organizer and reflecting her commitment to accessible, locally rooted art spaces.
In 2015, she founded Identity by Design, a creative platform that highlighted local artists and entrepreneurs through interviews and storytelling. Her creative direction work has since expanded into collaborations with brands and independent creatives, where she develops visual strategy, brand identity systems, experiential installations, and spatial design elements.
Ashley’s current body of work continues to evolve under the conceptual framework she calls the “Edge of Bloom”. She is the founder of See Fox Run Creative House, an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to activating beauty, storytelling, and spatial experience across art, design, and culture.
